I hate having to throw food away. I also hate saran wrap. It is the worst thing in the world to me, the way it sticks together. The lids from my bowls always seem to disappear too. On top of all that I would have issues with having to transfer food from one bowl to another to be able to store it in the refrigerator or freezer. I am not fond of time spent in the kitchen anyway so this made it worse.
Then I happened across this Silicone Lid Set and oh man has it saved me time and money. I absolutely love that they are safe in the oven on the stove top, in the microwave and dishwasher safe. I can even take it straight from the fridge and start cooking. The best thing to me is how fresh it keeps my salad too! It is airtight so I don't have to worry about brown salad the next day. It is also spill proof and water tight so it saves my food that way. I am absolutely amazed at just how great these seal on my bowls. Another absolutely awesome thing is that it comes in four sizes 6" - 8" - 10" - 12" sizes. The colors are great too. It is also so easy to clean, wipe them off or throw them in the dishwasher.
This is one of the best kitchen inventions yet. It is extra handy and useful for so many reasons. I received this at a discount in exchange of my honest, unbiased opinion. I will be investing in more though as they will surely come in handy during the holidays too.
