There is not much worse than to get ready to go somewhere and have a flat tire. Especially considering it is hard to find stores with air compressors, especially ones that have gauges. We have one of the huge air compressors but that was so much trouble to take out plus I always had to look for a gauge. This compressor is perfect. It is compact, it is about the size of a medium purse. It isn't too heavy although it does have some weight to it. I can keep it in my vehicle at all times so if I go off and need to air my tires I am not out of luck.
I like the fact that this compressor comes with both a car charging cord and a house charging cord. What good would it be to be out and about and have to find an electrical socket after all. There are even power buttons for each one, the 12 volt car button is on top, the 110 volt home is on the side. The gauge is on top and has numbers that are fairly easy to read, it would be nice if they were just a bit bigger or maybe digital.
The air hose is not too long but is long enough to reach the tire without holding the compressor right next to it. It is a thick hose that is securely attached to the compressor. It comes with the vehicle tip as well as tips to blow up bicycle tires and balls. The tips are quality made and won't break under regular use.
The compressor is not extremely quiet but I have never heard one that was. The sound isn't so loud that you need air plugs like others I have heard. I also like that it comes with its own carrying bag so that I can always have all the plugs and adapters together. Overall, I am very impressed with this air compressor. I feel safer knowing that I won't have to worry about not being able to check my tires or put air in them no matter where I am. I have actually had to wait an hour for the tow company before because I was in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire, now I won't have that problem again. I am so happy that I have this compressor. I received this at a discount in exchange of my honest, unbiased opinion.
