I believe that microfiber is the way to go. I love the feel of these cloths. They are soft but so effective. I put them to use in my kitchen. They can wipe up much more water than the dishtowels I had been using. They clean well too. I have noticed that my glasses aren't streaky anymore, they have a nice, clean look to them now. I use them to wipe the table, counters, stove, everything. They clean but don't leave all the extra lint. I have also used them to dust the living room, they pick the dust up better than anything I have ever used. I was actually amazed when I opened them, I thought that they would be smaller, but they are actually the size of at least 2 regular sized washcloths. They come in 6 different colors, I received dark blue, black, light blue, a bright green, yellow and red. These microfiber cloths are so versatile and having 6 comes in handy, it means that I can have one in the vehicle, one for the living room, one for the bathroom, a couple in the kitchen and even an extra one for using to clean my granddaughter's messy face.
