I'm hoping to never have to use this as an emergency escape tool but only as the car handle support. It is always best to be prepared. This comes in very handy to get in and out of the car. It is simple to use also, just put the long metal piece in the hook inside your car and lift yourself out. The emergency part has a window breaker, a seat belt cover and a small flashlight. The flashlight is not extra bright but it will help if you need an extra touch of light. Before using the flashlight the white plastic piece needs to be removed. This tool is made of plastic and has a silicone grip. The window breaker is made of metal. It is durable and a necessity of life the way I see it.
